FULL VIEW, PLEASE!!! I put a lot of work into this. >_<
Done for the contest by the ~SanjixNami club, this took me a stupid amount of time to do. Nearly two months. Granted, I wasn't working on it non-stop that whole time, it's still the longest amount of time I've spent of a picture yet. I blame it on the background.  This is also the first time I've probably ever spent 11 hours working on one thing before. I couldn't look at it for a few days after that. It's got some problems (most notably the lighting), but all in all, I'm pleased with it and I tried doing an actual background for once, which didn't turn out as horribly as I feared. I will definitely not be going to architecture school anytime soon, but hey, for me, this is a pretty big improvement.  And no, it's not supposed to be Romeo and Juliet (as I don't find the play particularly romantic and Nami has FAR too much common sense to be Juliet), it's just a general sorta Rennaissance thing and the title is from one of my favorite episodes of Moonlighting. ^^ Sanji and Nami belong to Eiichiro Oda (who is not me). The poem half belongs to William Shakespeare and half to... whoever wrote it in the Mask movie, neither of whom are me. The title belongs to whoever wrote that episode of Moonlighting. Who also, is not me. |
